Deepclan Tunnel Cat, BFFs with deputy Tornado. Mute Swan was born blind and deaf, abandoned by their loner mother. Grew up with Tornado the cat with a freaky face always by their side. The two developed Mute's sign system, comprising of paw and tail taps and movements, exaggerated ear and whisker movements (for the sighted version - this grew out of Mute always over-emoting to be able to be understood), and scent (for emotions on Mute's end). Mute Swan is a very self-possessed cat, and the one who knows Deepclan's tunnel system best, despite not growing up here. They sometimes vocalize in the deep tunnels for the fun of it, freaking out cats in the surface tunnels with the weird sound they make. Tornado always understands what Mute is trying to say, even if she only caught half a sign out of a sentence.
