Since my fursuit head, Deo, is so form fitting It really looks weird as a fullsuit.
Most importantly the small head and super long fur bodysuit together makes me look fat. >:[ That is intolerable. lol So I'm setting about creating an interesting costume design to pair with my Deo head for Anthrocon 2011. This is the rough of that design.
I'm thinking EVA foam armor and a giant wrench prop. The idea is sort of a mix of Diesel by Tyson Hesse (a comic in which I love the character designs), and the armor in Mass Effect.

That's pretty awesome.
I've had this idea floating around in my head for some armor for Cyanide based off of the Ghost unit in Starcraft II, but I doubt an artist would be willing to do something that detailed as a request.
Oh well, I really look forward to seeing your finished product on this! Mass Effect owns part of my soul. Also, you should come to MFM with this.

thiers a heat set plastic that would be great for making amour .. its normaly used to make splints. http://www.chesapeakemedical.com/store/chart.html you might be able to find it cheaper. Just warm the plastic up in hot water and press over your suit, wont hurt the suit only make you wet..
