NOTE: The picture is from a long time ago

This was one of the the most emotionally painful moments of my life. My 15 year old dog whom we’ve had for 8 years passed away from congestive heart failure this morning. His condition was worsening overnight and he passed away in front of me. I’m just thankful that it happened when it did so we didn’t have to deal with the difficult decision of having to put him down. He would’ve been terrified, surrounded by strangers. Instead, he passed on into the Instead, he passed on into the after life being held by my sister as she handed him to me. I’m thankful for my sister because she was the one who introduced him to us. And she felt that she needed to be there for me in this difficult time.
