"Uuuugh," groaned Jessica, collapsing onto the couch. "I'm exhausted."
"Long day?" Louis asked sympathetically.
"Super long. And super hectic. I never even got a chance to eat lunch. I'm ravenous."
"I'm not super hungry but I could eat," Louis agreed.
"Whose turn is it to cook? Ugh, I hope it's not mine..."
Louis looked at the chore schedule magnetically stuck to the fridge. It showed it was Jessica's turn to cook dinner.
The rabbit quietly removed the schedule and dropped it in the crack between the refrigerator and the wall.
"I don't know where the chore schedule got to. Do you wanna just go out to get something?"
"Going out to eat is a sometimes treat and right now is some time. I'll get my pants."

Soon, the two of them were cuddled up in a booth of a diner they both liked near the university.
The server brought Jessica's hamburger and a bowl of carrot soup for Louis.
"Is that all you're going to eat?" Jessica asked.
"I'll start with this and see if I can't drum up more of an appetite," he said, drumming his spoon on the rim of the bowl as he said it.
Jessica snickered at his bad joke. She put an arm along the back of the booth, he leaned against her shoulder.
It had been a long, trying day for the both of them but this moment together made it seem not so bad, in the rear view mirror.

Day 17 of the 30 art challenge.
Dinner!
Another prompt where I didn't have a strong idea who it could be so picked Louis and Jessica just to get a cute domestic scene.
That was the plan. Them chilling on a couch, eating take-out together. I got a late start on drawing and revised that to chilling and eating out - because that would let half their body be hidden by the table. And also because I found a great reference photo of a couple sitting together at a diner. And then I put Louis in the cuddling up position because I am galaxy brained.
Pretty pleased with how it came out.
Generally, bodies interacting is my weakness. That and hands. Also the area where things connect to torsos. Just generally understanding how bodies work in three dimensions. But I'm pretty pleased with this one.
