Todd Baker, the cuddly corgi was out lounging on the beach minding his own business. He was stretched out on his towel soaking up some rays wearing his favorite blue trunks as the cool ocean breeze blew over his silky brown and beige fur. He had just bought ice cream for some of the local kids who happened to be around while he waited for his darling to come by and join him. He was so at peace he had fallen asleep and thus didn't hear today's disaster on it's way to him.
Bakersville's newest resident Zuri Saad was jogging on the beach: a plump, perspiring, pachyderm.
A large African elephant, she had moved to town after hearing about Bakersville's lax policy about clothing. Outside of a few key locations, citizens may run about without the first stitch of clothing on if they don't want to. The little corgi never heard her coming until it was far too late for him. She decided to plop down and rest right on the spot he was on, not noticing there was someone already seated. He was soon enveloped in the slimy, sweaty, yet very soft cheeks of a 7,000 pound elephant.
His little 20 pound self getting lost entirely to her, at her sheer size she didn't even notice him. She passed a bit of gas causing him to pass out. After a while Todd's sweetheart Kichaa showed up where Todd should have been and didn't see a trace of him.
Kichaa: "Hey, excuse me miss. You haven't seen a little corgi guy around here have you? We were supposed to spend the day here."
The elephant who dwarfed the lovely lady that is Kichaa shook her head: "Sorry sweetie, I've been here for half-an-hour and I haven't seen the first little dog. A wolf wandered by but that's it for canines. I hope you find him though."
As she got up and walked home, Todd still trapped between the large grey orbs that are her backside.
Kichaa: "Thanks! Now where is that little guy?" She pondered what could have happened to him.
Zuri soon got back to her home, got an extra tall glass of lemonade, and plopped down on her faux-leather couch for a Lord of the Rings movie marathon! The original trilogy, 9hours and 17 minutes.
She was going to be on the couch with our either very fortunate or unfortunate doggy trapped under her. It was going to be a long day for him. What was worse was the fact it was Summer and the air-conditioning was out in the Southern heat.
He had woken up shortly after she sat down, but he was nowhere near strong enough to spread her cheeks to escape so he just settled in figuring she'd have to get up eventually. At about the midway point of her movie binge she was getting really hungry and decided some Mexican food would really hit the spot. She ordered so many bean heavy burritos and all manner of spicy dishes from the local Mexican place and had them delivered to her door. Feeling her wobble and jiggle getting up off the couch Todd thought he was going to get his freedom! But alas it was only the start of his torment, she soon returned to her seat and began stuffing herself on some the most gas-inducing foods imaginable. Within the hour her stomach started rumbling horribly before passing passing gas strong and loud enough to make a picture on the wall tilt behind her. Which also resulted in Todd's eyes burning from the sulfurous stench.
Zuri: "Whew, good thing no one was around for that one."
Kichaa had long given up on her boyfriend showing at the beach and went home wondering if he was hurt or just ditched her for something or worse SOMEONE else! "How dare he!" she thought to herself. "If he's cheating on me I'm going to snap his scrawny neck." She said before tidying her house.
Meanwhile Todd was drenched in sweat that wasn't his own, under near constant assault from his unaware captor's bodily functions. Any screams or cries of protest he had tried to let out being completely muffled and silenced. Finally after all three films had finished she got up and headed for her bathroom taking her over-heated soggy canine prisoner with her, giving her body a good shake before turning to get the tub ready for a good relaxing soak, she heard something fall. Looking back she saw something small, damp, and fuzzy looking up at her from the floor gasping for fresh air.
Todd: "Oh thank heavens I'm out!" Though his whole body was suffering from transient paresthesia, meaning he couldn't exactly get up.
Zuri: "EEEK!! Who are you and where did you come from?!"
Todd: "I'm Todd Baker, I'd like to say it's nice meeting you but ow that hurt like a lot."
Zuri: "Hey, were you in my...?"
Todd: "Your butt cheeks? Yeah last thing I remember I was on the beach and then damp darkness." As he tried to get up, slipping on his soggy fur.
Zuri: "Uh sorry about that Todd, I really didn't see you when I sat down. Do you need some help getting up?"
Todd: "That would be very much appreciated." She reached down and helped him get to his feet and propped him up against a wall to get his bearings.
Zuri: "Oof I completely forgot to introduce myself, Zuri Saad. I just moved in a few days ago."
Todd: "I hope you like it here Zuri, say how long was I back there? Like what time is it?"
Zuri: "I don't remember when you went in, but it's just before 8 o'clock. Why did you have a date?"
Todd got a panicked look on his face: "No no no, she's gonna kill me. This will not end well. I am a dead corgi!"
Zuri: "Oh no, is your girlfriend a hippo with purple eyes?"
Todd: "Yes, how did you know that?"
Zuri: "She was looking for you on the beach earlier. I told her I hadn't seen any corgis, how mad do you think she'll be?"
Todd: "She's a bit unpredictable, she'll either cover me in kisses glad to have me back or she might finally snap and break my neck."
Zuri: "Want me to come with you to help explain what happened?"
Todd: "No, I think it's best she doesn't see me coming in with another woman."
Zuri: "Good luck Todd, I hope I didn't cause you two any problems. I know this is a little weird but could I give you a hug? I feel just awful about what happened."
The two had an extremely awkward hug before Todd rushed off to Kichaa's house to try and make amends. He rushed to her door and knocked, he was soon greeted by a very angry looking hippo.
Todd: "Hey honey, please let me explain I-"
She then picked him up by his throat: "I don't want to hear it, you scrawny mutt. I was looking all over for you and cough what is that stench? Is that elephant butt?" It dawned on her. "You were messing around with that elephant cow weren't you!?"
Todd: "It's not what you think! I swear I didn'-"
Kichaa: "Save your breath we are through!" She chucked him out the door like a softball and slammed it shut, causing him to land head first in a trash can.
Todd: "Why is my life only pain and suffering?" He rushed over to try and get back inside as it was getting dark.
Todd: "Kichaa, honey please let me in? I swear I didn't do anything! Please let me in!" She turned up her music to drown him out.
Todd: "I guess I blew it..." He started walking home to his empty house. His roommate was out of town on vacation with her bestie, leaving him to his solitude.
He then took a bubble bath to wash Zuri's scent away, knowing Kichaa likely wouldn't speak to him again...
