Attire: He's mostly seen wearing clothes made up of pieces of brown or other cold colors stitched together, wither a wide-brimmed black hat or a brown hoodie and cape, finger-less gloves with his primary weapon, two sets of retractable claws full of fear toxin and a nebulizer for said toxin, mounted on his wrists and either gray boots or shoes with sharp claws mounted on them. He wears two canisters full of his toxin strapped to his back and often carries several types of scythes and sickles as weapons.

Story: Johnathan was born in Mobius 95 by chemist Gerald Crow. Sadly his mother, a psychiatrist, died after giving birth to him. Gerald took care of Johnny's education himself, teaching him everything he knew about chemistry, math and physics. Johnny had also helped his dad, despite Gerald's obsession with not being afraid anymore often resulting in violent outbursts whenever he failed which always ended up with Johnny being beaten up, in creating a serum to "cure" fear, and continued after his Gerald's death, which happened because of Eggman. But Johnny didn't hated fear like his father. He was enamored and obsessed with it, especially since he used to live his life in fear of his own dad, and thought that people shouldn't run from it, but rather embrace it. Taking on the offer coming from the asylum his mother used to work in, Johnny began working there, secretly altering the composition of the cure to turn it into a mixture that, when inhaled, caused his test subjects to see their worst fears come to life as dreadful hallucinations. Having heard from the patients of the treacherous way Johnny would treat them, using their own fears against them, the asylum warden fired him, finding his ways too unorthodox and inhumane. But Johnny had gotten a taste of power through fear, so he built himself a suit to conceal his identity and protect him from his own concoction, thus becoming Fright. As the Master of Fear, he attacked Station Square 95 with his concoctions many times, always stopped by Sonic 95, with whom Johnny became obsessed, wanting to break his outer shell of bravery to find the sniveling coward he thinks everyone hides inside.
Personality: Crow is cruel, sadistic, deranged, and manipulative above all else. Crow is obsessed with fear, and takes sadistic pleasure in frightening his victims, often literally to death, with his fear toxin. Crow also suffers from brain damage from prolonged exposure to his own toxin that renders him nearly incapable of being afraid of anything - except Sonic 95. This is problematic for him, as he is addicted to fear and compulsively seeks out confrontations with Sonic to feed his addiction. He is also known to have a warped sense of humor, though not to the level of White Mask or Craze, as he has been known to frequently make taunts and quips related to his using his fear toxin or his love of terrifying others. One time Fright developed a god complex; he creates an enormous hologram of himself that he projects against the sky, so he will be recognized and worshiped by the citizens of Station Square as a literal god of fear.
Abilities: A master strategist and manipulator, his genius labels him as one of the most cunning criminal masterminds. Crow is a walking textbook on anxiety disorder and psychoactive drugs; he is able to recite the name and description of nearly every known phobia. He is even known to have a frightening ability to tamper with anyone's mind with just words, once managing to drive two men to suicide, and uses this insight to find people's mental pressure points and exploit them. Despite his scrawny build, Crow is a skilled martial artist who uses his long arms and legs in his personal combat style known as "violent dancing", developed during his training in the Kung Fu style of the White Crane, for which Fright sometimes wields a sickle or scythe.
Fright is also a brilliant biochemistry and toxicology genius, best known for the invention of his fear toxin, which he atomized with mixed chemicals, including powerful synthetic adrenocortical secretions and other potent hallucinogens that can be inhaled or injected into the bloodstream to amplify the victim’s darkest fear into a terrifying hallucination. Its potency has upgraded to an extreme level over the years; in some stories in which it appears, fear toxin is depicted as capable of prompting almost instantaneous, terror-induced heart attacks, leaving the victim in a permanent psychosis of chronic fear. Other versions of the toxin are powerful enough that even Knuckles 95 can be affected; one time he mixed the toxin with Chaos Emerald dust to simultaneously weaken and terrify the Emerald Echidna To instill his toxin, he often uses a hand-held sprayer in the shape of a human skull and special straws which can be snapped in half to release it, but he recently discovered that intravenous injections spread faster into the body and have more severe consequences on his victims' minds. In one story, Fright concocted a chemical containing wildfowl pheromones from his childhood that causes nearby birds to attack his opponents.
Later on, Fright gains the ability to turn into a large, monstrous creature called the Terror after tampering with chemicals. As Terror, he has greatly enhanced strength, endurance, and emits a powerful fear toxin from his body. However, he has to be under physical strain or duress to transform.
