On September 23rd, but exactly 10 years ago I created my first character who was my ponysona for many years: Jesse Orange. I think it's a good moment to finally implement the idea that I had in my mind for a long time: draw the same character in the same pose (or similar poses) but imitating my older styles. To create a sense of "lost but found" set of pictures or something like that.

2013-2014: my very first attempts to draw completely own pictures, not trace crazy collages made of dozens MLP:FiM shots.
2015: tablet finally became my primary drawing device instead of mouse. So many pictures and experiments, so much skill improvement. I miss those days.
2015-2016: a thick boi happened between those two years. Still a lovely one.
2016: soft reboot #1: no shirt, smaller tum, longer hair.
* Fun fact: I made him less fat because I realized I couldn't draw him hugging a PC tower tight to his body. Still failed creating that pic ^^;
2017: soft reboot #2: not a pony anymore: no cutie mark, no wings. Dragon-like tail, front paws, new body texture. A damn tall boi, still love him <3
* There are literally dozens of variants behind the scenes (deer, dragon, dog, different manes, different tails, etc.) but I've picked here the one that I like the most.
2018-2020: well... Those were dark days, I don't want to describe them even though I have a lot to say. It was so hard mentally to go through all the old files looking for references. I'm glad all of that is in the past.
2023: this one is rather an idea how Jesse (now Jess) might look like if I drew him these days. I mean, the design is great but I didn't draw fat four legged cretures for a long time so I failed making him look properly thick here.
