A quick pic i drew for 
hollyoak and by quick i mean i got it all done in one day. I've had this idea in my head for a while and also i wanted to experiment with making electrical effects. But mostly i drew this for Holly cos shes an awesome babe and friend! :D

fuzors was retarted. i used to be a zoid fanatic back in the day when it first aired on Cartoonnetwork. then when Zero century kinda cut off i was like, aww.. then when chaotic centruy came on i was like omfg win! then i heard bout fuzors... watched the first episode and threw up my heart =(

Reason why Fuzors sucked was because it was CN's idea for a Zoid series that combined the storyline of the original Zoids, and the constant action/battles of Zoids/Zero. I never got a chance to watch much of Fuzors though, which I bless my soul sometimes. I heard the Japanese version was done a lot better, which would explain why they were able to -finish- Fuzors, where as us, the country it was made for, only received the first 10 episodes before it was pulled.
As for Zoids, yea they really screwed up the airing for that, back when Toonami was on weekdays, they aired it for a while, then put it on Saturday mornings (early morning weekdays). Then finally aired the final episodes on a Saturday marathon, then later reaired it on the normal Toonami blocked, but by then a lot of people had lost hope for it. ;_;
I think you'll like Genesis. The story looks to be in the vain of the original series, and not a hybrid like Fuzors.

That would be Zoids/Zero, which funny enough was the 2nd Zoids series in Japan, but we got it first. (blame the whole Action DBZ route they tried to go with, bring in a story with lots of action, get people pumped, then bring in the original series... sorta like what would have happened if 4Kids actually release the ORiginal Yugioh. Show the episodes where all they do is duel monster cards, then show the original, where they actually play other types of games, in which someone loses their life.)

Love the color there. Really makes it seem like it's glowing. I can't help but wonder, though, if that's how electricity would look arcing randomly through the air... but since realistically electricity needs something to actually jump to, well... I guess it'd be impossible to find out, eh?

"She's an awesome babe and friend." I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment. Holly is one of the best people I know, and a real sweetie. I don't know what I'd do without her. :3
Great pic. One can only guess what sh's going to do with that lightning-- probably give some very electrifying pounces and glomps. XD

Thanks! I credit my improvement to constantly experimenting with stuff, also learning from some real talented folks :D
Mostly the trick i did with the lightning is draw random lines that branch out from each other on their own layer, then use a little gausican blur (it varies from 3 to 7) then duplicate the layer and set it to Screen or Soft light. On that layer you wanna mess with Filters< Other< Maximum. Then just go nuts, it takes a bit of fooling around with the settings of each step but you eventually get this result :3

Im always happy to share tips when i can, especially because NOBODY would answer my questions when i was first starting out, i just had to keep experimenting for the longest time till i got things right.
As for your question thats one i dont know how to explain, just study the different way various kinds of artists manage to get their characters to look all fluffy and silky :3
