Wow, Grendel and Percy willingly releasing them from their stomachs... I think I can see where the story is building up to, especially given the summary of this comic thread. And it does explain how powerful eaters like those two -- who could EASILY digest them away for their own sustenance -- would feel compelled to only carry them until their unique talents can be exploited!
Considering the whole POINT of the Hunter-Killer gang is gluttony, they'd pretty much be perpetually targeted, and I'd wager not one of them would want to be mano a mano with THAT bear. That's a street gang going up against a tank.
Percy's much more of a free agent and AFAIK, not targeted by Atlas, but he still does favors for Leopold. So I imagine that isn't gonna make Atlas happy either.

I'm still really amused at how even after being spit up Sheila and Aspen are STILL arguing with one another. And from those growls, yelling obscenities at one another probably isn't that far away.
Until they literally get dumped on by Percy. He looks far too smug for someone that just let their dinner go. You have to wonder: If this is a dude that's not even part of the gang, what is their leader Leopold like? Talk about out of the frying pan...

Grendel is the anaconda. Perseus, aka Percy, is the lizard with the hands. That's a good guess why he, despite not being a member of the gang, has Leopold's trust for these sorts of errands. (Having a ton of natural charisma, mind control abilities, and wanting a life more interesting than just hunting and eating probably has a part too). Doing this kind of stuff for Leo is probably just interesting. Getting to tell Grendel exactly what to do with his maw is just a bonus.

This overweight Sheila is definitely the most entertaining thing in this comic so far, and witnessing what happens to her is very exciting 👌
