Letters to Leo the Patriotic Lion: #44
Leo's forty-fourth letter.
Leo himself, G-52s, etc. (C) me and me alone
The character Mechayote, however, is joint-owned by
Chuong and me.
IMPORTANT! Do not confuse fantasy with reality; in reality, Joe Biden is our President. But for the purposes of storytelling our stories about Leo as President, I am including the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022 as among the bills he signed into law.

Chuong: Contaminated water like that should've stayed in the past. Also, with Liu being China's President, you Americans have access to China's technologies, especially if they involve improving the quality of life as well as nuclear power.
Shi: China has been long overdue for this change of opening ourselves to the world more. With us cooperating with the Americans and her allies, we are helping the world to become a much better place than before. No military facility should be mismanaged like that.
Zax: In my opinion, I would recommend closing down Camp Lejeune and cleaning the place up. In other words, completely demolish and clean up that place. The world is changing, military forces around the world want to improve their defenses, yet they look up to us in how we improve our defenses. There's more demand for guns than armored vehicles as well.
Juno: In the world of peace, along with improving our defensive capabilities and helping the world to do the same, guns and lasers are more important than military vehicles. It doesn't take much resources to produce antimaterial and anti-armor weaponry as it does with military vehicles.
Chuong: Take a lesson from my country; no matter how much armor you have and how big your weapons are, defensive tactics, especially with good weapons, always wins. Look at Finland; their snipers are their greatest defenders. It's why Finland freed itself from the Russian Empire.
Zachary: Finland is also home to Leku the Silent Lion. If you invade Finland and you see him, game over because he already saw you first as a sniper.

Leo: I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that either. In any case, I think the odds are that we will close down Camp Lejeune and replace it with just clean nature. The bill we passed into law was about providing monetary relief to those that were affected. The lion soldier who wrote a letter to me reported that his family got $400,000 out of the deal, for example.
Super C: I'm still baffled by the fact there was contaminated water in the first place, let alone the fact it went from 1953 all the way to 1987 before somebody finally did something about it.
Boomcat: Our Marines will have to be stationed somewhere else.
