aaaaaAAAAHHHHHH. I have so much envy right now. ;_; And yeah, can you imagine how much resetting you'd have to do to get a perfectly natured SHINY starter?

And when is the soonest you can figure out if it's shiny or not? The battle you have right at the beginning, right? Or would the pretty preview sprite of the Pokemon inside the box be shiny as well?

I consider a "perfect nature" any nature that benefits the Pokemon for either the strategy or personality that the individual trainer wants. I know a lot of people like to strategically battle, as well as those that just like to have particular Pokemon with certain natures for fun, stories, RP, you name it! :D

Also, I just watched a video that explained that the preview box sprite is just a default sprite, so you won't actually know if it's shiny or not until you battle for the first time. So much extra clicking. . . ;_;

I can dig the coloring -as always- and the lineart.
What filter(s) did you use for the final textured touch? Is pretty nice. I'd like to be able to do something like that...

As for the texture, I just put them on different layer settings! Multiply, overlay, and addition are just to name a few! I normally take a texture I like and go through all of the layer filter options to see what I like best and then often times will put another layer of a different color with a different setting on top of it!

The settings I use always change with each picture since I go for distinct looks each time! Just play around and experiment a ton and you're sure to find something you like! :D

Serperior is god

Hehehe, I've actually always been disappointed in shinies... There are very few that I actually like. If you want your shiny, look up the odds of getting one (somewhere in the 1100's, last time I checked) and you'll see just how many times you'll have to hold those buttons. lol

I've already soft-reset it about 50 times. . . Brain hurting. @^@

It's actually more like 1 in 8000 naturally. There are a few ways you can improve your chances (chaining or the Masuda breeding method), though. XD

Masuda breeding method? I had to read that twice to make sure it didn't say Medusa breeding method. lol

i looked at everything too O: every area that i have open at the time has no hidden/displayed items, i have one of each pokemon from every map already, and ive talked to and battled everybody- im just a grinder lol

I have yet to ever get a shiny starter, though. I'm breeding for a shiny Cyndaquil but it...takes...tiiiiime. D: (It was bad enough resetting for a female Snivy and watching my friends get ahead. XD: )
