Arrangement: Go (TV Game Show Theme) - Guitar Variation
A while back, I wrote a big band arrangement of the theme to a short-lived but challenging television game show simply titled "Go," where the object of the game is to improvise your own question to an answer, one word at a time, between players. There were two versions: one with a horn section for the opening, and one with guitars for the closing. This is my take on the guitar variation, although I kept the piano in the end.
The full lineup is:
Acoustic guitar
3 electric guitars (2 lead, 1 rhythm; the two lead are playing an octave apart)
Bass guitar
Drum set
Piano
