Not quite a training montage, but at least a training sequence? Too bad it doesn't go so well. Looks like whatever's happening isn't stopping at just a tail, as channeling magic seems to make the changes progress more. Will it stop on its own? It's not very reassuring, the way it's spreading... How is Tola going to get things done in this kind of condition?
Well, surely he can just take some time to relax, now that the Shield is up. Figure things out, find a way to rid himself of this draconic essence infiltrating his body and soul. Except for Hermes (Yes, THAT Hermes) popping in for a bit of a chat. Ain't that just a kick in the tail?

What's to worry about? I'm sure with a friendly chat, things can be sorted out. It's all a big misunderstanding, I bet!
Having dragon instincts pushing on your thoughts can be pretty unpleasant. They don't really know how to deal with "Thing causing stress/anger" in ways other than "Bite! Claw! Burn!" (or "Flee!" if those aren't an option).
