This is my submission for this month's Styles Challenge.
Soundstyles is a group that I own and manage, where I issue one challenge a month for musicians willing to try it. You can check out what the Styles Challenge is at

So here's my track for the challenge, which is to write a song with multiple time signatures. The verse is 5/4, and the chorus is 6/4.

Dude, that's my djembe - I finally found out how to rig my mic to record it =D. It's multi-tracked in, but the drum itself is just one live track. This is my first track with the djembe, and something tells me it's going to make a huge impact on my style, 'cause I fucking LOVED recording this.

It took me like 20 minutes to find a good picture to use for this song, because my signature acoustic pic just wouldn't cut it for this. I should probably see about getting a new signature pic for this stuff, since I plan on doing a lot more xP.

Sometimes we focus on aspects of composition or songwriting, and sometimes the challenge is to steal what you like and make it your own.
I'm always taking suggestions for the Styles Challenge, by the way. I'd love to have some ideas for compositions/lyric-based challenges set aside just in case.
