An unusual cave dwelling creature capable of airborne movement possible through psychic means. Up to 5 meters in length, a child is able to ride on it's head.

Head: It's head resembles that of a Marrella. It have strong armor plating, presumably to allows it to ram into rocks in search of food. Despite being fully airborne, it have a few pairs of legs.

Body: The remaining 90% of it's body involves a long serpent-like body with 4 fins that runs down the length of it's body, in order to aid it while in aquatic environment. This part is vulnerable.

The Marrent is essentially scavengers, but if one were to disturb it's eggs, or strangely, any natural crystals within it's cave, it could dash towards intruders with unpredictably high speed, accompanied by an ear piercing screech. It is, surprisingly tamable. By feeding a Marrent with Coffee Corals, it will trust you and follow you around, defending you. At this point you will be able to mine crystals or handle it's eggs safely. Somehow, this also cures anyone nearby of photophobia.
