We stand in awe

I saw myself standing on a harbor overlooked by a great port city situated on cliffs , surrounded by friends and family, we gatehred here for a rare event that occures once every 1200 years. As the sun slowly settled beyond the horizon we whatched the clear surface of the water for any sign of the rarest creature that excisted, people all around us were caught in the moment of celebration, dancing, singing playing games , deep drums rolled to the thumping beat of our hearts as we waited in anticipation for the moment we were all assembled, some thousands of visitors and tourists gather to this one spot in the beach , hundreds more perched on the overhanigng catwalks lineing the citys edge above us, the sky was clear and as night finaly came , there was a single rippel and someone called out, poitning into the ocean, and there, all could see, deep under the clear surface, the head rose, the moment it broke water everyone around took in a deep breath as its massive body lifted out of the water, everwhere there were gasps of awe and camera flashes. Leviathan had arrived, many experts speculated it was a type of monsterous whale or fish, hundreds of feet long and as big as a skyscraper, but non of that matterd now, as the spectical of its magnificant form rose higher and higher into the night air , there was a great echo as it begans it song, and the sound of its deep throated hum vibrated the very ground benight us and there was a kind of energy filling the air, the hairs on my body stood up as I gazed into its large dark eye and I felt it was looking back and deep into my soul, for an hour we all stood there in awe gazeing up and whathed as it made its way across the nightsky, passed befor the moon once, then turned back and made its way tword the surface of the water, the moment of impact was gental but was still enough to send waves crasheing up onto the surf, people cheered and dance as the drums began to roll on the heart pounding beat as its great long tail dissapeared beneth the surface of the water, we whatched on studying its fluid movemnts for a long time as the celebrations continued on around us.when at last all was silent we shooks ourselves and tried for composure, but the high energy was still there and we danced on to the beat of our drums . This went on well into the ngiht and when hunger finaly took its toll we retreated into the city and found a resturant where we gatehrd , sat and eat and talked well until morning of the great event that just took place.

We stood in awe of its magnificance.
