Although we may be long past the actual anniversary date, it just occurred to me that 2023 marks 30 years of the Star Fox franchise, so I decided to write this piano solo arrangement of the theme tune to the first level of the game, Fox McCloud's home planet of Corneria. (Andross, the villain, lives on the planet Venom.) In the game, General Pepper, the commanding officer of Corneria's defense force, dispatches a prototype high-performance fighter aircraft called the "Arwing." However, lacking the time to train pilots for the new aircraft, he summons the elite mercenary team Star Fox to defeat Andross. Fox McCloud, the leader of the team, is accompanied by his teammates, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, and Slippy Toad. (I would imagine Pepper would eventually have new recruits train to use the Arwing, but the Star Fox team also fly this spacecraft.)

Happy 30th anniversary, Star Fox!
