Over one year later, Gev’enlta sits proudly with her mate and newborn. Much like Shal’rein pregnancies, which last around 12 months, Alara’jal pregnancies last a little over 13 months. Most of the reasons for such a long gestation time are due to the large sizes. With the T’rintar program in full swing, both Berry and Gev’enlta will be given a nice home and a basic income, a further incentive to encourage others to also follow along. The more children that are produced, the higher the amount of money will be given.

Originally, starvation had proven to be the biggest detriment to the Alara’jal’s beleaguered survival. However, in the years to come, it is expected that their population will double or triple in size now that food is regularly available for the Alara’jal colony. Further technological programs and utilities are also provided. With Earth seeing a slow revival, it is expected that the Alara’jal will eventually help restore the environment as well while providing a defense force for the planet.

The Alara’jal may yet play a role in the Human and T’rintar clan’s survival, whether it is big or small. The couple, like the many couples out there, will help encourage the Itrean clan war to come to an end, even if it is the most minor degree.
