The instrumental song "Tequila" is a song I had memorized from the first time I ever heard it (although I was in high school by the time I noticed the word "tequila," an alcoholic drink, is actually said in the song 3 times). This arrangement I did doesn't have vocals, but I think you can guess where you'd speak the word.
The way I've done it, primarily as a way of dealing with the frustration of MIDI, is for the following instruments:
Tenor saxophone
Vibraphone
2 electric guitars
Acoustic guitar
Electric bass guitar
Drum set
Piano
Hand claps
This arrangement © me and me alone
Original music © Challenge Records and everybody else who owns the rights, including Joe Johnson as producer, and composer/writer Chuck Rio.
