Make sure to treat it like fish, use water conditioner, maintain a good water change schedule, filter and cycle the tank, and make sure the aquarium is large enough. For 1 crayfish aim for 10 gallons or higher. :)
It may be better to relocate it rather than keep it in captivity, living in the wild is almost always better for animals as a whole.
