A "Vote Newshounds" cartoon I made two years ago. So don't bother to vote, it's been done, and I won that year, so yay!

Naturally I'm glad you won the award, but even more important to the laws of interdimensional physics was the proof that Hostess® cakes were indeed the nexus between all imaginary worlds!

Nicely period looking. I don't know if the yellowing/aging of the paper was intentional, but it sure looks right!

This is really awesome! I love the old timey look. How did you get the old comic pixel coloring look? That's something I've wanted to do but I'm too dumb to figure out how XD

Also, what exactly is in Grit? Isn't it, like, news for farmers?

I forget. It may have been an overlay of a pattern. Also, once I had the colors in a layer, I shifted the layer slightly to the right.

It looks really yellow now, and I'm not sure why. I think I overdid the paper-yellowing in any case.

Grit is, apparently, a farmer's newspaper, which makes me wonder how any kid was expected to sell the thing back in the day. I feel really bad for any kid gullible enough to think that selling it would make them rich (http://www.misterkitty.org/extras/stupidcovers/stupidcomics22.html, scroll to the bottom).
