Amazing work on this naga! :}===<
Sublime scales, and excellent serpent anatomy. You are one of the few artists who realizes snakes aren't just perfect cylinders, it seems! [although I know there are some snakes that are more round in body than others] It's nice to see the flat underbelly and the domed back rendered nicely, as you've done, herein. :>

Aww, thank you very much! I had a beloved ball python that I very much loved for a few years (until my mother-in-law accidentally killed him @_@ -_-;), so I got a good chance to get much more familiar with them in a way people who aren't personally familiar with snakes wouldn't necessarily pick up on.
FA seemed to eat my reply :V Let's try again! The head and belly scales are all done from scratch while the body scales utilise a brush that repeats the sort of VVV shape, although it doesn't always fit so well together :b It definitely requires going back over manually anyway in order to get them looking right, although I didn't have excessive hours to spend doing that, so here was an attempt to balance detailing them without going overboard :V
