this is THE assault ship. the only ship under FSSN control that is designed spesificaly for frontline combat. this is Xanders lance. the last of the type125-A design. the first was the Firelance and sinse then all the names of these ships have ended with Lance. xanders lance is not JUST a battelship. because of its sheer size it is capable of filling almost every role, it has several laboratories spaning genetics, programming, electronics and several other assorted sciences. the main hulls are 35 metres high. 40 metres wide and 180 metres long covering the ships 10 main decks. these two hulls are conected by a centeral beam which is 20 metres thick and 90 metres long seperating the main hulls by only 20 metres. the ships tower sits atop this beam and houses the main rear facing gun. the observation deck, the galley and ofcourse the bridge. the whole structure is finaly caped with a pair of proto-wings 82 metres from the ship. 15 metres thick at the tips and 45 metres wide. these wings house the ships main guns and defences also providing stability in atmospheric flight

the ships 2 HUGE cargobays take up 3 decks from the bottoms of both main hulls runnign the legth of the ship. the crew quarters are almost as massive, standard cabins are 5x7.5 metres. the ship has 120 of these on either side of the ship plus 12 centeral 10x7.5 metre exacutive cabins. total crew capacity reaches above 1000
accomidation is no problem. air and food is another entirely. this ship posseses 2 of the largest greenhouses ever built into a ship. each is 4 decks high and 30 metres wide. every surface besides the cealing is covered in plant life that all bare food.

as previously stated this ship is atmospheric capable. usless beyond takign of and landing. the ships 10 pairs of supercompressors and 28 thrusters give the ship just enough power to take off and land usualy this prosedure is only undertaken when a large amount of cargo must be transfered to the surface or if a number of vehicles must be picked up. this ability has helped an evacuation of an entire alien colony. 400 setlers were rescued and the lance exited the solar system with little more than paint scratch

all that is nice and tight but this is a Battleship not a luxury liner cross cargoship. lets talk about all the sexy offencive and defencive. the ships pair of quad 200mm gauss rifle turrets are its main offencive weapon capabel of sending a quarter metric tonne of fire down range every minute but that is just the main weapon. the rear gun is a THOR and can also contribute in battle by covering the entire top back quadrent. firing one 200mm round every second. then there are the wing tip defences wich are 2 Hammer turrets which can cover the entire ship from their positions plus 4 105mm dual gauss rifle turrets to pick off the smaller targets. not to mention the ships incredible armorment of 8 fighters and 12 Moonraker missiles finishign the ships destructive power in glory but all this is useless if it cant take a hit. this ship has 3 types of armour. heavy ram armour on all forward faving edges. heavy batttle armour on all other main sufaces and standard battle armour on un-exposed hull such as the engine housing

this ship is even mroe dangerous than its relative the type125-B battlecarrier simply by vertue of having more mass and far more firepower through fixed weaponry so if you thought the Judicator was a problem. facing this heavy battleship is sure as hell not going to be any easier
