With the forming of a strange new pack due to an encounter with Atlas, some eyes have taken notice of their accomplishments. Davy and company will soon find themselves face to face with the most dangerous group of predators in the Megawild, one that seems to be against the all-eating bear as well!

I highly doubt he'd be a fool if he led the most dangerous group of predators in the Feralverse. For now it is only known that he adores all felines (this information and some of his designs are on fidchell's Tumblr), so it is possible that his personality is somewhat more dangerous than we think.
OH SHIT! I just remembered that Aspen killed an entire group of Wildcats to avenge Scia's death in her backstory and with Leopold doting on all his feline companions...
I have a feeling Davy's group is going to have more pursuers at the end of this comic, and who knows what else...

Perhaps, but if Aspen spills the whole truth about what happened, there might be some leniency. He doesn’t seem like one who would be dishonest about it, and he might even regret that his actions at the time were directed at the wrong target. Whether he would admit to regret is another thing entirely.
Remember that we are talking about ASPEN, a character whose personality has been consumed by hatred, anger and what is given to selfishness. Besides the fact that he is officially one of fidchell's evil characters (his wiki page is categorized with evil chatacters).
I doubt that a character like that would stop to even superficially explain everything that happened with the Wildcats if he came out. the light; What's more, I fear that the wolf will instead gloat over that "achievement" of his.

I have been reading the comments about how the human machine did all the work to save Davy and the others from that grizzly end. But I believe that Davy's cunning was what helped them in the first place, and the lion is not wrong with what happened. The machine did not come to save them at the last second; it was because of Davy's cunning that Atlas was bested in the first place by Davy leading Atlas to it. To say that the machine deserves the credit for defeating Atlas is like saying that the oven in the story of Hansel and Gretel is the hero because it killed the witch, not Gretel for pushing her into it.
To put it simply, Davy and Atlas are like the story of David and Goliath. Davy knew he couldn't beat Atlas in a fight, just like David knew he couldn't beat Goliath. So, they had to be cunning to defeat them. In this case, the machine was Davy's ace in the hole, just like David's rock that felled Goliath.
