While she's So hard to draw, Alexis is one of my favorite character designs I've made. She's a steampunk western spider outlaw with mechanical legs armed with transforming guns! A mouth full to say, but cool as hell >: 3
Alexis isn't exactly the friendliest face in town, but she's more of a defensive type. Don't mess with her and she won't mess with you, and people rarely ever mess with Alex. While she's not the sharpest shooter in the state, Alexis gains her strength through her skills in engineering. After losing her legs to bandits, she built powerful prosthetics armed with heavy guns and sharp blades.
The fronts are shotguns and rear legs are gattling guns. The inner two legs turn into support clamps for when she has all 4 funs in use. She's like a heavy artillery turret. Alex was a brutal lone-wolf outlaw who challenged everyone, even the major crime rings in the area. After meeting her new partner, she finally came around to operating under a more organized banner.

If I had a nickel for every time FA blasted me with instant-fave material in the first, most recent spot on the front page, I'd have fifteen cents. It's becoming a pattern.
I love her! Drawing all of those machine bits in perspective has to be time-consuming, but the result is quite striking. She's got a great color scheme going... you really hit paydirt with her.
Please tell me she has a story. Was she always like this, or did something happen that ended with her in this body?

Thank you! ^^
I sadly have not drawn her much for the reason of those legs taking ages. I'll be posting her partner tomorrow though
As for context, a bandit gang took a bounty with her name on it. After losing one of their own to get her, personal spite leads them to chop her legs off and leave her in the desert for dead instead of a quick death. She would actually survive though and built herself a new pair in time, though her first method of mobility because a modified wheelshair. Over the years, she got better skills and tech to eventually build the set she uses now. A good example of "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"
