Clinton is the first character created for my story, Blood Money. He's the classic snapshot gunslinger right out of an old western film. despite his more traditional style, he fits right in with the developing world. More specifically its crime rings where his talents are well-utilized. In the story, slavery never came to a true end, but technology is slowly driving it out of relevance. Reptiles are on the unfortunate end of this "human recourse" trade, and Clinton grew up as one of them. His rattle was chopped off as a means of demoralization as Rattlesnake tails grow with age/experience.

Clinton waged a small riot to free himself and some of his family. In the following years, he gained the attention of the organized crime lord, Black Jack. Clinton agreed to work the first year free of charge if Jack helped him free the rest of his family. The old man agreed, and Clinton returned home with a spark of rage, and a few extra guns. With the old mansion burned and his family freed, Clinton resumed his work under Jack which would eventually lead him to meet his future partner in crime, Alexis.

Alexis is also the one who makes Clinton his new rattle. While it makes a great metal club now, it more importantly serves as a symbol of defiance. Rebuilding what the world tried to take away from him.
