So I feel I have to preface this page and apologize to the readers. When I started I set the time around the 1750's so that act 2 would happen around present day to slight future (I wanted them established with 2-300 years under their belt). This means certain historical events would take place in the span of the comic. But I didn't want to just have a lot of Act 1 of the comic be a greatest hits of things like "and here's the guardian punching Hitler." And given how powerful they are/get, that wouldn't make sense that in spite of them history plays out the exact same anyway. Which means I need to spend time properly establishing the first major split. As a result the next hundred pages are effectively leading into and then dealing with the civil war. And if this offends anyone or makes them uncomfortable, I apologize.
