This is the Dam that created Lake Shannon atop the town of Concrete WA on the Baker River. This is one of the two dams on the Baker River that form first Shannon Lake, then Baker Lake. Each provide hydroelectric power at varying times of the year.

The Baker river is filled via both seasonal snowmelt and glacial melt in the summer months.
