I absolutely love the sort of 'hopess' look on his face. It makes it feel like a very sad scene, as if he know's that he's not coming out of that fight, but he chooses to go in anyway.

That is so hot, I LOVE gladiators and their sexy, seaty action, nakedness and violence. Anyway, I love the shading, and your style! Very cute.

I've never seen anyone combine such a clear feeling of melencholy overlayed on a character with definite sex appeal. Heck, I'd award points for even attempting the idea. As a finished piece, it's almost beyond words.

I'm sure he'll pull through in the end. I hate to see a strong gladiator like him get cut down in his prime.

I could parallel this picture to a SEAL team embarking on one of their missions, also unsure of their fates like this lone gladiator embodies.

I own a copy of this picture now! I honestly think, as amazing as everything else you've done is, that this is my favourite piece of your art. It reminds me of one of my favourite songs, "Arena" by Asia.
