To be fair people are luck that. When I got hit by a van, I wasn't wearing any safety equipment I went up in the air pretty good too smacked against the hood windshield and the roof and then off onto the pavement I was battered and bruised little bloody but because I didn't break anything I didn't go to no hospitalI. Sometimes it's just stubbornness of not wanting to admit that you got hurt
Thing is, you can't force a conscious person to go when they know who they are, where they are, and when they are. If they're in their rational mind, taking them somewhere against their will is essentially kidnapping... At a minimum, you are "battering" them, as in "assault and battery".
For the record, I agree with you that this is a time to go and be seen. The ideal would have been to immobilize her and load her up while she was still unconscious and unable to refuse to go. At that point, consent is implied, and usually un-actionable.

Your art definitely improved quite a lot since the first version of the comic. I do like that you kept around the old version though. Maybe, if you ever publish a physical copy, you could create a deluxe edition that includes some sketches and warm-up images, as well as the old version.
Agreed that this does feel more natural. I like that it's mostly Gem and the paramedic talking, since that would make sense during this. I also like the expression at the end, dismissing and almost a little annoyed there. Captures the expected expression she'd be having very well!
