Built to replace the convoy system of transporting material by Forges heavy industries sibling company Hammer heavy industries, this call so became one of the main carries of cargo in the galaxy but was never able to fully replace the medium cargo haulers. With 3496.69 meters (2.17 miles) of useable space, these massive ships often haul smaller ships in addition to cargo to points across the galaxy saving on engine ware and tear. The U.N.E.S.C. has eve converted a few for the sole duty of hauling damaged warships and towing the mammoth Oceanus repair bays into place. However, long in tooth these vessels will surely see its share of service well into the coming millennium.
