'Aaaaaaah! Too fast!'
‘Haha! This is great!!’
“I’ve heard of ‘snow’ but I had never seen it before, neither Nightshade Island, or my old home before I was brought there, ever got cold enough for snow, though I had always wanted to see it. When I mentioned this to Lucia she started telling me about a place on her home, Azure Island, called "Snowflower Mountain", a couple of mountains in the middle of the island that get so cold that they are covered in snow. Well, when she mentioned that I just had to go there, and some of our friends wanted to go with us too.
We’ve all been having so much fun, and though Lucia and some of our friends have needed some warmer clothes, the blessings that make me immune to heat also protect me from the cold as well, and I must say, the cold up here is a very nice change from the constant warmth of the islands.
I remembered something a bunch of tourists gave me, they called it a ‘sled’, and that it was meant for riding in the snow, but at the time I figured I might find a use for it on the island, so I accepted it, and I’m glad I did. I brought it to Snowflower Mountain, and it has been great, it is so much fun ‘sledding’,… I think that’s the right word,… through the snow. I’m having so much fun, but I don’t think Lucia is,… hmm, maybe if we went faster,…”

Something you don’t see everyday on a tropical island, snow. But, thanks to
usagiforehead It looks like Ember and Lucia have found some, and are having a great time, well, one of them is anyway. ;)
A great and very fun picture, quite unusual for a tropical island, but very fitting for the holiday season. They both look great, as does the snowy landscape, but I love how well this shows the difference in their personalities. Ember is just carefree and having a blast sledding fast in the snow, enjoying every moment of it, and you can really see it in her happy expression, her hair trailing behind her. Lucia, on the other hand, clearly thinks they are going too fast, and is holding in for dear life, with her panicked expression showing it well. Her red wintery outfit looks good, as does the addition of her cloak for cold weather, a very nice, especially as it trails behind her. All in all a very fun and festive picture for the holidays. :).
