Recruited not long after the Imperials came in and put an end to the unrest in the region she grew up in. When she came of fighting age she was conscripted. Her options were to fight or stay at home and help rebuild the population along with other "womanly duties" that was going to be lost due to the ongoing war. After flipping off the conscription officer, she took her recruitment papers, grabbed a rifle, and never looked back. Fortunately she was on the "right" side. She is also considered a War Dog, meaning she was born in a warzone and grew up going into military service. She takes pride in being called a War Dog, most don't mind it, some don't care for it but accept it, but some resent being called it, especially if used in a derogatory way.
