Damn bro, I did way too much shit this year. besides the small stuff, going to Japan fucked hard. I thought as a fun little thing to watch a Downtown No Gaki new years special, I've watched some over the years and the 2013 Earth Defense Force is the best one. I've seen it 3 times, I remember in 2015 when I first watched it i cried and hurt a day later from how funny it was. I showed my gf a year or two ago the EDF episode, and from there we started on the back cataloged of their specials. nothing beat EDF, sadly last year we tried to synch up their Enthusiastic Techers special to end on new years.. but found out the last episode was not subbed..
But this year we wanted to try again, we just threw it out there as "hey we are watching EDF, join if you want to". I didn't think anyone would show up being it's import tv, but we had a fun time with our friends. it was very special to end the new years with the show and our pals, funny enough I forgot this came out in 2013 and ended in 2014. man that couldn't have been better, I wish we could watch one live in Japan. but it was cool seeing the gang on normal day time tv there and on ads. here's to the be mean to Jeremy Clarkson gang.
