This is why I like quickies. Sometimes unplanned scribbles can really pay off.
Still a quickie but hot damn do I love this one - which is something I don't say very often about my stuffs.
There's a bit of Gutts in there as well as bits from my Absol~

After watching Kaine's aerial swordplay and the undergarments she fights in I tend to disagree.
Seriously I have to draw a character wearing this. This design is amazing.

Seriously look at figure 17. how that bottom even stays on is a mystery.

I do. Not as much as one might think... but I do indeed do.
My thing with her is that she is that there is no way to draw her well in her original design.... because some angles just look flat out bad. SO.... until I manage to come up with something I'm satisfied with I will feel compelled to keep drawing her until I get her right!

The pose is very cool, as is the giant sword. That's the sort of style that I'd like to see Ale represented in - not drawn to *look* completely badass, but being that way just by virtue of how cool the image turns out. Giant swords are instant victory. ... Then again, so are scythes and polearms. This would make an excellent desktop if you have it in 16:9 and 16:10 flavors. I like backgrounds that are dark at the left-hand edge and are not too bright on an LCD display.

their called manga's because they are created in japan...which is why everyone calls them manga's and not comic's...plus the many differences...same with manhwa which originate from korea...they have strips of pages instead of the normal size...but with them you read from left to right and their coloured...the differences between comic's manga's, and manwha's are there...which is the reason why each one has a different name from the other...if they were all comic's....then they would've been called comic's...not manga's or manwha's...so again...get it right next time...simple request...just a simple change of letters...no less...no more...is that so hard for you to do?

are you finished?...ok...let me straighten this out....I'm not being nit-picky...I'm simply asking you to call a manga by its respective name next time you mention anything about manga's...I'm not asking you to still all the gold from fucking fort knox am I?...if its so hard for you just to call it a manga instead of a comic...which is not for obvious reasons which I have pointed out a few times now....then you're obviously mentally strained when it comes to understanding an explanation on something you think you're right on when you're not.
plus...you understand that they are referred to as manga...as well as I understand that they are also referred to as comics...but I call them manga's because they are called manga's...not comic's...I call them by their respective names...why?...BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE REFERRED TO...they are not referred to as COMIC'S...they are referred to as MANGA'S...get it...that's all I need to say in order to refute everything you've just said.
"I've read both american comics and manga for years" lol so have I...what are you trying to prove?
here...I'll explain a few more differences between manga's and comic's if you still don't get it...
Manga
Most manga is printed in black and white (occasionally the first several pages are in color, depending on the success of the title).
All weekly manga magazines and compiled titles are printed on economical recycled paper.
Manga is first published in thick weekly or monthly magazines before finally being compiled into a single series of issues.
Most competitive publishers release manga magazines on weekly basis—deadlines are never, never, neeeeeeever missed. Publishers would never want to upset their 1 million plus regular weekly readers.
Manga and manga magazines can be bought at newsstands, bookstores, candy shops, train stations, and almost anywhere else. If you miss out on those weekly issues, the compiled series ( usually 180 pages) appear on your local bookstore shelf, and you can easily order it if you don’t see it.
Comics
Most comics are printed in full color. Comic book retailers often fail to receive black-and white titles well.
More and more printers are now using recycled paper. However, until the recent past, elaborate variant issues used high-cost paper for covers and interiors (which attracted retailers and collectors).
American publishers publish titles as stand-alone issues. Depending on the sales, the publisher may opt to compile the single issues to form a “graphic novel.”
American publishers try to release titles on a monthly basis. Occasionally, some titles miss deadlines, upsetting retailers and readers who must order them through distribution catalogues. Best titles average 40,000 to 50,000 copies in monthly sales.
If you want to find your favorite title selection and it isn't a superhero title, you have to visit your “local” comic book store where they might have it. If they don’t, good luck getting the store to re-order the issue listed in last month’s distribution catalogue. Time to test your luck on eBay.

you should know that arrogance and smartassness never solves anything and always escalates the discussion into something we both don't want or need...if you wanted this discussion to be kept mature in the first place then you should've just accepted the truth that a manga is called a manga & not a comic for a reason then after that...we would've moved on...but because of your arrogant way of dealing with the situation and the smartass tone which you were replying with...you escalated the situation into something we both don't want or need...its not my fault that this happened...its yours...so learn not to be an arrogent smartass the next time someone tries to help you out by correcting a mistake you made and simply asking you to simply change the word...comic...into...manga...the next time you're about to use the word comic in order to refer to what is originally called a manga.
Certainly not a fan of Renamon. (whether or not this is referencing Renamon, it seems somewhat reminiscent of it to me. Forgive me, if I'm wrong) However, everything else, the concept, the coloring, the clothing, I Just LOVE it. Really like this one, Tsam...

It's very likely. As far as fantasy swords go The Dragonslayer Zweihander is pretty famous.

The idea of only wearing only one spaulder is to turn your body's armored side TOWARD the enemy, that lets you sacrifice protecting your less exposed side to reduce the weight of the armor you're wearing. Using a massive head chopper and holding it in the wrong hand just makes it look foolish.
