“I’m quitting, Blitzø! I’ve had enough!” - Loona, 2024

OK, so… I did this to help release my anger and pass it on to that angsty hellhound Loona from a show on YouTube I’m contemplating watching called Helluva Boss. And the reason I was angry was because I’d opened the blinds in my mum’s kitchen and sworn, and then my dad had come in and shouted about it, and then I’d gone upstairs without making a single cup of tea and proceeded to throw stuff around my room.

I even knocked over a chair in my fury, and then later in the afternoon, I started working on this while I was lying on my bed and watching the 2011 film Carnage, you know the one, with the two couples who meet up in an apartment to discuss a playground fight between two schoolboys in which one boy had hit the other kid with a stick and broke two of his teeth, with the intention of having a short conversation that turns into complete chaos as they start drinking heavily and pointing fingers and shouting at each other and vomiting and throwing a handbag against the ceiling and decimating a vase full of tulips?

And then I suddenly had this idea to make the artwork about Loona deciding to quit her job at the I.M.P. and giving her imp father Blitzø the middle finger as she shouts about how she’s had enough of his nonsense while walking out of the briefing room with the intention of leaving the HQ of a bunch of unorthodox assassins for good, and so that’s what this artwork has become. A simple piece of fanart drawn both for the sake of relieving myself of anger and for the sake of experimenting with this amazingly detailed and really crazy version of Hell that Vivziepop has created.
