Yes, I named my starter Pikachu in Pokémon Yellow “Rei” after the Sailor Moon character. I thought I was being incredibly clever, but this is where the “being too embarrassed to refer to them by their nicknames in public” thing began: almost as soon as I started playing, people started arguing that the Pokémon Anime was not real Anime, unlike Sailor Moon which did anime “properly”. I definitely didn’t want to be on the wrong side of this debate so… I hid all indications that I watched both shows.

And yes, there is a prequel or two coming …maybe in a year.

The daycare lady is completely unfazed by this because, well, she's seen some sh*t.

In case anyone’s wondering, Sparkey is saying “Dad dad, you’re never going to believe it! We were in Hoenn and—THAT! EXACTLY THAT HAPPENED! Haha, I KNEW I wasn’t dreaming!”

I severely underestimated the complexity of this page. It probably could've been done by Monday (Jan 29) without Sparkey and her dad in the background, but come on, I couldn't do this whole journey for Sparkey to reunite with her parents and then not show her reuniting with her parents!
