For the last month, I had been working tiny fairs all over western Mississippi seeing references to Alcorn State University, which gave me the idea for this furry school (and since Alcorn State inspired it, I used their colors). For their location, I remembered 5 years ago going through a town known as Sherwood, OR en route to Sheridan to work a high school fair. Since it is a very woodsy town, I thought it would be perfect for hosting a squirrel college.
