Princess Celestia is without a doubt one of the most powerful magic users in all of Equestria. And part of the reason is that she's tied to the Sun as her magic source. But what ponies don't know is that her body can adjust to accommodate the amount of magic she has stored within her.
A guilty pleasure that she has is absorbing all of her magic into herself by calling on all of the powers of the sun. Her little ponies have no idea just how much magic she holds back. Celestia grows to a gargantuan size, holding the entire planet in her magic as she goes for her nightly walks.
She smiles gently at her microscopic ponies in her grasp, along with the other of equally tiny creatures on the planet she's holding, nuzzling them against her cheek. "Ready to accompany me on another nightly walk my dear little ones?" Celestia giggles, igniting her horn and creating a road out of stardust and light, sauntering along it as she goes on another walk though the galaxy accompanied by her little ponies

Queen Chrysalis was a fun character to do. It was pretty fun to have her as the giant playful overbearing mother type for my story on FimFiction. And for the upcoming story I'll be uploading here she'll be making a return as a giant. But this time as a more playful 'bad girl' type
A fun head canon I've loved playing with is that Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Chrysalis enjoy being huge. After all, they are already the biggest among their people, it's only natural they'd want to take thing to even bigger heights. Since Celestia and Chrysalis are the tallest I can see them being the most gigantic, followed by Luna being a little bit smaller and Cadence following up
I really like that. Although what do you think of the idea of Luna assuming the guise of Nightmare Moon during Nightmare Night or to teach people not to be afraid of her , but her personality remaining unchanged and as kind as ever?
Although if Chrysalis absorbs too much love she might end up being the biggest one by far to the point where she could eclipse worlds and technically become one herself. Imagine if Chrysalis gets bigger than this for instance? The more beings that are exposed to her the more they will love her and thus it'll put her in a feedback loop that she might actually have difficulty escaping from. " even stars are finite, whereas love is not."
Although if Chrysalis absorbs too much love she might end up being the biggest one by far to the point where she could eclipse worlds and technically become one herself. Imagine if Chrysalis gets bigger than this for instance? Luna can for sure use her Nightmare Moon form during Nightmare Night. Keeping herself huge and maybe reading some stories to the foals after they're done getting candy
As for Chrysalis, I loved the idea that the more love she absorbs the bigger and more powerful she can get. Meaning she can very well beat out everyone else in terms of size. Soon putting some planets and galaxies into a small Dimond necklace or earring she's wearing and constantly get love from that, getting bigger and bigger each passing second and more powerful. Collecting planets and galaxies to add to her new kingdom that she keeps safe in such a tiny piece of jewelry perched on her ear. With the tiny pocket universe quaking and shuddering a bit every time her ear twitches or subtly moves her head

I personally think she looks more attractive as nightmare moon, but that's just personal preference and she looks great regardless.
Although the problem that would give for Chrysalis is that she would be constantly growing with no way to easily stop it.
Although if she goes for a more bad girl vibe I can see her doing something to deliberately stop the flow only to explain it later. She might want to shrink every now and again. Regardless, it would certainly be nice to be with her no matter what because I'm safe no matter what she says.
Although in this case I imagine these princesses and Queens would find some way to take higher titles than the ones they already have. They're well deserving of "Empress" titles at this point.

I like to think that because Chrysalis is the one absorbing love, she can control how much she grows and not have it be endless, so this way she has a way to interact with her new surroundings for a bit and not constantly have to be adjusting. Like say we see a galaxy floating in space against a black background but as the picture pans out we see it the galaxy is just a speck in front of Chrysalis' pupil as she's giggling down at it, ready to add it to her collection.
For the whole 'bad girl' vibe she has going on, I like to think it's more around the fact that she's 'large and in charge' while throwing around her size and power while teasing all the tinies she currently has in her grasp. Tthough for sure I can totally see her and the other princesses taking on an Empress title. Though maybe Celestia, Luna, and Cadence are all too kind and gentle to suddenly announce a title change to reflect their new heightened powers (Celestia and Luna never called themselves queens after all). But Chrysalis on the other hand would definitely take it in stride

I actually will be uploading a three chapter macro Chrysalis story soon and some pictures related to it where she actually does something similar to that scene from Men in black. First starting off giant sized, then mega sized, the giga sized, and eventually outgrowing the planet and onwards. And I tried to have her described exactly as how you mentioned above because I think that's the perfect medium (extremely teasing and dominant but still causes no harm).
I'm sure that since their subjects love the other princesses so much that they wouldn't mind if they took on higher titles.
As for other non-equine MLP characters, in the story I mentioned above, I also have the Yaks grow as well and make them macros. I also don't mind the Dragons and Kiren or Hippogriffs huge as well

Will you be uploading it here or just to FIM fiction? And I'm glad to see that we both see that kind of thing as a happy medium with her being a bad girl and teasing. What would she be doing in the men in black picture?
Good point, hence why the princesses would accept the higher titles if their people wanted them to have them. But as you said, chrysalis would just bestow the title upon herself since no one could really argue with her in that context.

I'll be uploading the story here to FA since I didn't write it. I commissioned the three chapters from someone else. As for the whole men in black scene, well, you'll just have to see for yourself in chapter 3 :D
As for characters, I feel like the other rulers would make good macro characters, to fit in with their titles as well. They're metaphorically the biggest in their respective kingdoms, so why not literally as well? It'd work well for characters like Prince Rutherford with his more loud and outgoing personality, Rain Shine of the Kiren, Ember, Thorax, and so on

The only two of those characters you explicitly named that I know are thorax and ember, and I don't really care for male characters in terms of being big even though your content is very very wholesome. I love Ember a lot though,

Ember is an underrated and underappreciated macro. She really could swing either way in terms of what she'll decide to do on any given day, but I know that even she still won't hurt anyone .

Fair enough. I've just gotten used to the phrase master of. One of the original fandoms I'm still apart of, long before MLP, is Ninjago. Where all the characters, regardless of gender is given an elemental power that they're the 'master of.' I'm just used to using the phrase because that's what I've been comfortable with since 2011
