So, this one was a bit of a random piece I started during the weekend after seeing this particular piece  cooliehigh did, which in turn led having this lombax being a cop. And after looking up some possible name ideas, I decided to give her a Galician based one: Maxina.

She was born in the Lombax Dimension sometime after the events of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Growing up was a bit of a mixed bag, where though she had a loving mother (who was a cop herself and later part of the Praetorian Guard), her father... wasn't the best due to being an alcoholic due to issues (mostly due to work issues at an engineering job he works at). But her childhood became worse shortly after her eighth birthday when her mother was killed in the line of duty. Not only had this left her distraught, but also caused her to live with her alcoholic father until she was old enough to move out.

Due to her living situation after her mother's death, this caused her to develop anger issues during her school life later on.

Her anger issues grew to a peak during her late middle school/early high school life when she got into a handful of fights (despite doing whatever she could to prevent them from happening), with a couple of them nearly getting her expelled or jailed due to how bad they got. Though was urged to seek therapy due to circumstances (living situation, anger issues and fighting), the last fight she got which nearly led to her expulsion and/or arrest drove her to finally seek therapy. Luckily for her, she found the right therapist and managed to clean up her act for the most part.

Though her life would take an unexpected turn shortly after her senior year started when she attended a party which led to her drinking excessively as well as sleeping with a guy who also attended the party (both of whom were intoxicated at the time with Marina never again drinking alcohol from this point on). The encounter led to her getting pregnant, getting kicked out of the house by her father, moving in with a friend who lived in an apartment, getting an online job, and later birthing a son shortly after Graduation (who'll be named later once I think of some good names).

After graduation and birthing her son shortly after, she attempted to enroll into Praetorian Guard after finding arrangements for someone to help watch her son part time. But due to her record as a result of fighting a few years prior (one or two of them leading to near expulsion/arrest), she was prevented from enrolling. But due to her graduating high school in the top ten of her class, she was given an opportunity to enroll in the Police Academy, which she took without a second thought to honor her mother's memory in some way. Several months of intense training (and good time management to be with her son), she became one of the youngest recruits in the Police Department in the Lombax Dimension.

Though for the most part, her assignments resulted in working as a meter maid and sometimes doing foot or vehicle patrols, something she wasn't keen on. Especially since some of the Lombaxes (male and female alike) being more... grabby than she expected. This soon led to her transferring to the Kyzil Plateau Police Department in the Dimension Ratchet resided in thanks to a friend of hers having a dimensionator on hand, where she took up work at a precinct in an isolated area of the Kyzil Plateau. This greatly reduced her more... hands on encounters, though they still happened from time to time. This also led to her meeting Rocky (Sprocket's older brother whom I need to properly draw aside form a demo piece) and later getting involved with him.
