“Sorry to hear you don't like the cold. Stay home next time, loser!”
“Maybe the landfill IS his home?”
“Nah don't be like that, I'm sure he was only there to drop a broken vacuum cleaner and overstayed his welcome. Were ya?”
Already frightened and confused by the ordeal, Ziggfreed takes a few seconds to realize the thug has the audacity to actually expect an answer from him. Perhaps they actually believe he's here for trash. What makes it worse for him is, that pretty much is the case. As he sometimes does, he did come here today looking for discarded items that might be of use – nothing to do with being poor or needing any of that; there are just some things he likes scavenging for and that's nobody else's business... He was already mortified enough to find other people around, then utterly distraught when they turned out hostile; and mentally crushed when they caught him and proceeded to mug him.
“S... sure...”
“Not that it matters much, mind you, that's our turf anyhow.”

Do they even know this dude? Did he just look at them funny? Are they disappointed he doesn't have much money? More likely they'll do that to a dude if they can get away with it, I mean it's Naythan, this sadistic little creature will do that for the hell of it.
