Part of me wishes I'd drawn more of the inside of the bus because it'd be a chance to explore the sort of accommodations you need for mass transit in a world where people being basically the same size and shape isn't really a viable assumption.

The second side doors larger than the front since they are between the wheels and not limited by the front wheel location? Depending oh the drive train being electric or fuel driven motors the deck on the bus can be lower in the back for the taller beings. The vehicle would have and elevated floor section for the battery storage area in the center mass of the vehicle bottom.
Yeah, and the middle doors also have the mobility lift. It comes in at the middle of the buss with the latter half being significantly taller and the chairs being replaced with more bench-like forms that are easier for those who aren't bipedal. It doesn't have as much overall capacity but the only people who can't use it are the ones whose anatomy or scale is truly out there.
So for the tails most of the bus seats either have a hole or have a space between the seat and the back cushion so that the tail can be bent to the side. Most of the time when they want to accommodate wings they just make the back narrow enough that the wings can play out on either side.
Oh! Sorry I missed the upside-down part, yeah that would make a lot of sense. Though at least with the bus they don't tend to do tail holes because then the tails stick out in front of the person behind you, which, depending on the length of said tail, could get in the way
