Somewhere inside the royal throne room at the castle of Noire. Several people were gathering around the throne room, which everyone were taking part for a special party for the Queen Ventris Morrie adopted daughter birthday. While everyone enjoying the party, the Queen of Noire, Ventris Morrie was looking around throne room, trying to find her daughter Tempest. Her trusted deer butler Lafred was helping the Queen trying to find the young Princess, searching some hiding places she tend to go. During their search, Queen Ventris had notice that some of the guest were trying to approach her and see if they can have some conversation with her. As the Queen of Noire, Ventris had to keep up with her reputation with other members from different kingdom, but at the same time her priority for her daughter safety come first before anything else. Lafred place his hand by the Queen shoulder and told her that he will continue searching for the young Princess. He told her that she must focus being Queen for a moment, while he continue his duties to find, Tempest. Queen Ventris hug the deer butler for being helpful and made things easier since she take over of being the true Queen. Lafred would bow to the Queen for her kind words, but his eyes had spotted something from a distance. Lafred notice a young manticore was sneaking around the throne room, doing their best of not being notice by anyone. Lafred figure it happened to be the young Princess, which he is guessing she was up to something that could be a prank. Lafred excuse the Queen for a moment, and head his way to catch up with the princess. Between the crowded people, the young manticore Tempest was doing her to sneak around the party guest, without them noticing her being there. Tempest wasn't a big fan of dealing with big crowds, especially people she doesn't know of. She know that her mother explain to her that she going to be a Princess to rule a kingdom and dealing with different people everyday, but since it was her birthday, Tempest prefer to stay at her room, and hangout with her pet butterfly Icarus. Course at the moment, Tempest is on the hunt to find some dessert to filled her belly. Tempest look up in the sky to see if Icarus was doing some scouting mission for her. She was able to spot Icarus floating in mid-air. Tempest was please to spot Icarus, which meant that it was able to find the dessert she was looking. Icarus was floating towards a different direction, and Tempest started fallowing her pet. From a distance, LaFred was able to catch up to the princess and saw her running across a crowd of people. LaFred sigh to himself knowing he had to continue chasing after her, but it going to be difficult not to interrupt the party guest. He slowly move around the crowd, while heeping his eye on the princess Tempest. LaFred was able to see her going to the food table, which it was going to be easy catching her. Course a random guest, a female Gnoll almost tall enough and thicc enough to surpass two royal guards. LaFred look at the very tall Gnoll, and remember her being the Dutchess
