Herinn seems to be doing a bit more damage to the castle than to the enemy...
Or maybe he's making an excuse to claim fire insurance.

Yes, Gerrin definitely wants to help his younger cousin rebuild what he destroys by spewing flames from his mighty chest. I have a question: how do dragons form these flames? Do they have special valves in their chests for this?
And yes, look at the third panel, friends! We see a very important point here! Gervic doesn't just leave part of his battle suit here. He's showing us that he's putting his past behind him. Of course, we saw that suit in the first chapter, but it's more important in this one. I'll explain why that is. On page 24, Vlagg gives his husband a costume that is similar to the one Gerv had at the beginning of the story. Of course, the wolf is a little shocked by the dragon's gift, but puts it on. When we see Gervic on pages 32 and 33, he tears the costume apart, which to me personally means that there is no going back to the old one, and that this ode is not for him. And now he leaves the red part, which is colored in the colors of his homeland, Wolven. Previously Gervic wore both parts, red and blue, showing us that he is torn between his clan and his love for Vlagg. Now, however, the wolf is left with only the blue robe, signifying the final choice in favor of the dragon clan. Gervic is afraid to admit to his friends that he is no longer the wolf he once was, but he knows that Vlagg needs him, who now covers him with his mighty body, fighting Zudrek and even willing to lay down his life for the one for whom he risked his position.

Oh, come on, what kind of “captivity” can there even be now? The dragons are evacuating, and as far as we know from the “history” of this world, something will happen to this castle after which not a stone will be left upon another (not literally). If this is really true, then let them try to figure out later in the pile of ashes whether there is something here from “the wolf and that dragon,” or they disappeared somewhere on the sly. Yes, I understand his memories of the castle will not go anywhere, but he will definitely leave this part of his life behind (and under water)😶😏.
