Super C gives some sad but necessary stats related to more discoveries about the now non-existing element that was CNG.

Nighthowl: Bosnia was mostly Christian a long time ago, but we were declared heretics, then a Muslim majority nation, now we're secular for the most part. We have CNG activity, but it was weird and unpredictable, just like our country's history. Today, in Bosnia, if one is Orthodox Christianity, they're declared a Serb, if one is Catholic, they're declared a Croat, but if neither, then we're Bosnians.
Chuong: Sounds like your country is way more complicated than it looks.
Nighthowl: Pretty much. Even Ljubomir thinks this is nuts.

Prius: I'd say it was nuts. But no matter what country you lived in, CNG did the same thing. If you were Christian (either Catholic or Protestant), it let you live; if you weren't, it didn't.
Super C: CNG was always weird and unpredictable, but it didn't differentiate. It said all humans were worthy of the death penalty simply because they are humans. It's just like the Q race in Star Trek.

Nighthowl: Then how did my people exist as the Bosnians we know of today? We used to be under Ottoman occupation and Turkey still provides lots of support to us to this day. Under the Ottoman Empire, Islam was the dominant religion.
Zax: Good question. Because Malaysia's Christians, even under Lekiu, are still minorities in their own country. The only difference is that instead of allowing parts of Sharia Law, Lekiu abolished it and made Malaysia fully secular instead. So, are you Muslim?
Nighthowl: No. I'm secular, but lean towards Christianity. Bosnian Christians do exist, but they're a minority.
Chuong: We have an extremely tiny Christian community in Vietnam, but most are Catholic thanks to French colonists at the time.

Chuong: The Mongolian Empire pushed Islam into Turkey before conquering that country. Knowledge of the conquered lands under the Mongolian Empire also made their way into Turkey.
Zax: The Golden Age of Islam fell to the Mongols. Whatever Genghis Khan did knew what he was doing. I'm sure Yul the Conquering Lion had a lot of fun being part of that historical moment.
