Storm warning
- There's nothing beautiful about this storm!
Tsuki gasped. Noisette was glaring at her with a violence she didn't know from her best friend.
- Do you have any idea of the suffering of the thousands of girls trying to survive the winter in these mountains? Irradiated by this stellar storm! How many are dying right now?
Her jaw clenched, her features contorted with rage.
- I don't... I didn't see it that way.
Of course, Tsuki knew that Cenon - or even the whole of the Pecora system - was often bathed in stellar winds from the nearby Star Nursery, but the vixen thought that everyone was safe during storm warnings. Why venture outside?
As if Noisette had read her mind, she spat out
- Do you think they're happy to go into those mountains? Those poor girls have the choice of living on the streets and starving to death, or slurping up a snack outside and being surprised by the radiation.
This stellar nursery is our curse, the root cause of our society's decline!
It forces our allegiance to this fucking antlerocracy! To be cannon fodder for our army, for a free meal! To be Ladies of the night to survive on the streets! To be martyrs of radiation for the rebellious who prefered to face the Nature better than the monsters of the street. What's so beautiful about this storm?! It's the embodiment of the death of so many of my sisters!
Tsuki fought back tears. Her friend had never spoken to her about her past, before the orphanage. Had she braved the storm? Had she bowed her head? Had she....
Noisette shuddered with rage. Years of painfully repressed anger had just surfaced in front of this scene where the natural elements were unleashed with a rare violence.
The young doe disengaged herself and ran alone towards the village chapel, hammered by the lightning.
There was nothing beautiful about this storm, no.
Tsuki had just made the bitter discovery.

Prequel of the Denial
Long time I haven't written a depressive story. That shall be corrected è^é
Now that was the scene I was talking about in that picture Bitter truth
It took me a whole year to finally have the motivation to talk about that.
