The original design uses hexagonal units with 4 bookshelves and 2 corridors, but this arrangement limits the amount of books per unit and keeps visitors from reaching every unit within the plane. I decided to use an octagonal unit to solve these two problems, while adding a table and chairs to facilitate the consultation and study of the books.
