Wanted to do something somewhat wholesome rather than just rely on recreating older drawings. And so decided on doing a somewhat more mystery dungeon style image. Drew an image of a fennekin and alolan vulpix overlooking a cliff with the fennekin being far more enthusiastic and then did my best to construct them. I actually somewhat did both at the same time bit by bit. Where I sculpted their heads, then the paws, then the legs and then backs and tails. And there are some things on the fennekin where you can see a flaw with the method when dealing with adding in the fur. I also tried making a rough background.
