This is where i spend most of my time now in front of my computers. All three(not counting the ps2 slim or the mp3 player) of the ones here run gentoo linux. I posted this because i saw some other people posting images of where they do there work so i thought i would join in.
I do have a twist with mine. The table, the case that sits on top, and even the entire room I am sitting in was made by me. Though with some help by a coworker of mine and his father for some parts of the room i did not have the right tools for. The transformers you see on the table and shelf above are only a small fraction of what i own..

No thats the new Generations Jazz just released this quarter in the retail stores, or last quarter if you bought it on-line at a 20%~ premium. I lost all my original toys sans a few broken ones due to the bane of every collector, Mothers who throw away toys because they think the kid has finished with them. I keep my most recent or well liked toys with me on my computer/desk. Or ones that provide me with inspiration. *pokes the cybertronion mode megatron next to generations jazz*
Anyway if you liked the old jazz toy you will like this one. The car doors even have flip out speakers :P

*nods* I thought it looked a little... clean and sharp, maybe?... to be that old. I don't remember the white plastic on those toys lasting long before the permagrunge set in.
All I have left are a pair of Ravages, one happily in mint condition, and one from some weird monster-themed group whose name I can't recall. Many of them fell apart from play or from experiments with screwdrivers. My parents actually sold a box of my Transformers and Micronauts that I had brought along to play with at a flea market. Turn your back for two seconds...
That desk looks great, but I have no idea how you manage to not stab yourself on it occasionally ^^

Oh i stabbed myself a lot, as well as sanded off skin as i hand carved each and every one of those scales. Made the project last so long but boy was it worth it. The inside of the case is no less complex with a near tool less mounting system for the computer as well as wood ducting and holders for hardware. With the way i designed it using a decent sized tower heat sink i can get near water cooled temps on the cpu on a good day.
Holy! That is, paws down, the coolest desk/table I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, that things freakin' awesome. The scale pattern is one thing(quite awesome in it's own right), but with those, what I assume are built in speakers,(Oooh, and I just noticed the Disc Drives after writing the message!) it gives the thing almost a 'bio-mechanical' look to it. Or, it looks like something you'd expect to see in a 'high fantasy' anime or RPG, owned by some alchemist or mage. And I know.. I know..it's probably not what you were trying to show off in the pic. Really, the whole work area looks great, but I STILL can't get over that desk. :)
I SO wish I had a few hundred dollars to commission you to make the mate and I one. I'm wondering, was table/desk originally a sewing one?

the one thing on the front there is a air intake vent, the black part is a air filter to prevent dust, there is another one on the side of the wall on the left that you can't see.
as for the table it's self, it's all hand made. those scales took over a year to carve(on my spare time. hand done after using a dremmel to get the basic shape.) and cover the entire thing other then the insides of the case part on the left and the table part it's self.
