Fun fact: I'm actually fudging the chronology for this one a little, if we're assuming this is set in the 1980s. The Seahawk wasn't MUN's mascot until 1990. Before that they were the Beothuks (Newfoundland's extinct indigenous group) and they just used the Chicago Blackhawks logo. But that would be both confusing and probably offensive to someone.
